Overkill is very common when you receive quotes from suppliers so that their supplied machines always seem to over-perform rather than under-perform, this way you are fooled into feeling like you have bought a bargain - whereas you have actually been conned.

Yes its good to have a margin for expansion but statistics show that computers are usually obsolete in 3 years, and are also pretty much a tax write-off by this point also - so buy with an expansion plan in mind and do not overspend unnecessarily.
