POP3 email accounts help.
If you have a website hosted with us you may want to setup an email account in Outlook Express, Microsoft Outlook or Windows Mail (Vista). Follow the simple steps below and you should be able to collect mail from any POP3 account you have with us.
Either go to the Control Panel and click on Mail icon then "email settings", or open your email application go to the relevant area (tools or options) and find the email account settings.
Some examples below are from Outlook 2007.
Selecting Tools then Account Settings opens this window :-
This will show all email accounts (if already set up) or click NEW to create a new account.
Fill in the details replacing your domain and email name details. The SMTP server may be different depending on who your Internet Service Provider (ISP) is, for example - BT is mail.btconnect.com but your domain may work using the same settings as the incoing so always try that first.
You may have to select "My outgoing server requires Authentication" again depending on who your ISP is. Only try this option if you are having troubles SENDING emails or can only send emails to yourself.
If you want to leave you emails on the server (so you can collect from 2 different PC's) then use the settings as above.
If you want to check your email from a public PC or any web-browser you can use the webmail login. Just type in the following URL "http://webmail.YOURDOMAIN" and then use the same username and password as your admin supplied.
If you are a VPS client, you can log into your own Domain Control Panel and change email accounts and settings.
These login details would have been provided when your account was initially set up.
The example below shows how to manage a password reset/change.
