Laptop Repairs & Upgrades.

Don't limp along with a laptop that's faulty or not up to the job at hand when you have many options rather than buying a new one.

- Replace the battery to improve charge capacity and life

- Upgrade the RAM Memory to improve performance

- Upgrade the hard drive to a larger, faster RPM drive to improve performance and increase your overall storage space

- No built in wireless ? Use a USB or PCM CIA card

- Power cord or charge socket intermittent ? have the actual socket repaired, its much cheaper than writing-off the laptop and claiming on your insurance, increasing your annual premiums

Below is an example of the repairs we will undertake, although through a new contact we can also flow solder new processors, replace graphics chips and even repair motherboards. Replacment screens are very common as are power connectors and broken hinges.

The Thinkpad featured was a double repair. Intermittent secondary hard drive/ CD Drive port connection and loose power socket. Both were due to dry joints and we re-soldered.

 

The repair was a 2 day turn-around and this laptop is
still running with no problems 18 months later...
