Operating Systems and Hardware Upgrades

Rather than spending thousands on an entirely new network and/or system why not consider an upgrade?

We have many clients that prefer to use thin client PCs that can cost less than half per PC and are a great upgrade option not to mention they are so small they look the part in open plan offices or smart reception areas.

On many occasions we find that a simple RAM, Hard drive upgrade and a newer operating system can solve most of the problems with older PC's. Budget can be a problem so upgrades have to be considered a viable option.

Some of the older operating systems (Windows 2000 for example) that many people still use may seem ok, but many are not supported by their vendors for security updates, and therefore could be a vulnerability to your network, files and/or infrastructure. If you think you maybe running outdated software that could be leaving security doors open - but you cannot afford to buy new, maybe its time to upgrade your operating systems and software.
